Seamless WhatsApp Notifications
Seamlessly receive notifications through the most preferable communication app, with over 2 billion active users worldwide, WhatsApp has become a ubiquitous platform for instant messaging and communication. Safee recognizes the immense potential of WhatsApp and has seamlessly integrated it into its notifications system, allowing fleet managers to receive real-time updates and alerts directly on their WhatsApp accounts.
Enabling WhatsApp Notifications:
To enable the WhatsApp feature in Safee, the process is straightforward and user-friendly. Fleet managers can follow these simple steps:
Allocating WhatsApp Quota:
To take advantage of this cool feature, it’s best to reach out to your service provider and figure out and agree on how many accounts are allowed to receive WhatsApp notifications. This number is referred to as the “Quota” and includes both the administrative account and other qualifying accounts.
Activating WhatsApp Notifications:
After obtaining the allocated quota, you’re ready to divvy it up among your affiliated companies. To do this in the system, head over to the Management Tab, then click on Companies Configurations, and finally select WhatsApp Quota. Next, hit the Edit button and enter the amount you want to allocate. This amount will then be split between the company’s administrative account and its associated client accounts.
Once you’ve allocated the appropriate quota to each company, you can proceed to activate WhatsApp notifications for their accounts by navigating to the “Accounts” page.
Verifying the Phone Number:
Following activation, it is necessary for the account that aims to receive notifications to verify the phone number. This can be done by accessing the Management Tab, selecting Current Account Settings, navigating to Phone, and adding the target number. After saving this information, click on “Verify on WhatsApp” to complete the verification process.
Once you enter the WhatsApp number, a code will be sent to it for verification. Just type that code into the dialog box that pops up on the platform, and you’re all set.
Enabling WhatsApp Notifications:
Upon successful verification, users may proceed to enable WhatsApp notifications from any “add notification” page or popup by ticking the “WhatsApp” checkbox, which is displayed below. Subsequently, the verified number will start receiving system notifications.
Note: The company administrator can enable WhatsApp notifications for client accounts based on the assigned quota.
